Coldingen Industrial Estate

- 36 plots, about 20,000 sq ft each

Guyana’s first modern industrial estate, about 15 miles east of Georgetown, developed at the insistence of former President Dr. Cheddi Jagan. Tenants make furniture and garments, process wood, food and fish, and test soil for minerals.

Eccles Industrial Estate

Guyana’s second modern estate, four miles south of Georgetown, built to international standards with a mile-long access road off the East Bank public road, close to the city’s wharves and shipping routes. Tenants include pharmaceuticals, chemicals, fabrication and engineering, light manufacturing, printing and electronics.

Placed beside the bridge that links Guyana and Brazil, the estate can make Guyana a hub for trade and investment between Brazil’s northern states and wider South America. It suits pharmaceuticals, chemicals, engineering, food and wood processing, furniture, electronics and warehousing.
